Lizann Y. Roberts
Lizann Robert is a Somatic coach who works with individuals in developing their interests, gifts and capabilities to make vital contributions in their organizations and community. Her coaching services are designed to support people for the outcomes they want in their health, work and relationships; make successful shifts into new roles and responsibilities; and increase their ability to self-correct and practice new ways of being.
Lizann is passionately committed to the professional development and personal growth of women; helping women develop their leadership skills, confidence and presence.
Prior to beginning her work as a coach & consultant, she was a college professor & administrator, worked for two large health care organizations employing over 18,000 employees, owned a small business and served as a human resources professional in a 2500 employee organization for ten years. Lizann has worked with executives, managers and their teams in the U.S., Caribbean and West Africa.
Lizann received both B.A. and M.A. degrees in Health Education and earned a Leadership Coaching certificate from Georgetown University. She is a certified Somatic Coach with the Strozzi Institute and has studied with the Paul Ekman Group in the domain of Micro-Expressions and Understanding Emotions.
Living in Savannah, Georgia, Lizann is an active community leader and co-founded Healthy Savannah, a community-based health initiative, held as a national model of leadership for social and environmental change. She has served as a preceptor faculty member of the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and Armstrong Atlantic State University.
